Dr. Wolfgang Colberg appointed chair of the AMSilk GmbH supervisory board

Dr. Wolfgang Colberg has been named the newest member of the Supervisory Board at AMSilk GmbH, the world’s first industrial supplier of synthetic silk biopolymers. Dr. Colberg has taken over the chair of the board. The AMSilk Supervisory Board has a total of three members: Dr. Colberg, Dr. Matthias Kromayer (Member of the Board of MIG Fonds) and Siegfried Winkelbeiner (CEO of Schoeller Textil AG).

Dr. Colberg has been an industrial partner at the private equity firm CVC Capital Partners since 2013. In July 2015, Dr. Colberg became the CEO of the CVC investment company ChemicaInvest Holding BV in the Netherlands. Prior to that, he was CFO at Evonik Industries AG, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of specialty chemicals, as well as CFO at BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH. He also held different management positions within the Bosch Group in Germany and abroad, and he is the Independent Director at Pernod Ricard SA, France. Dr. Colberg completed his studies of business administration at the University of Kiel with a doctorate.
