The technology behind the performance

 

AMSilk develops and produces high-performance silk proteins for Consumer Care formulations. Inspired by nature and tailored through biotechnology, they interact with surfaces by modifying their properties and forming a thin and uniform film on top of them. Silk proteins also interact directly with ingredients in formulations, boosting their performance while reducing their concentration.  Available as a powder or granulate, this technology is compatible with a wide range of formulations across Home Care and Personal Care.

Silk proteins are biodegradable and vegan, helping formulators meet evolving regulatory requirements while supporting sustainability and consumer-facing claims.
